  • IRS Scams and Fraud Alert

We want to bring to your immediate attention a telephone Scam regarding owing the IRS back taxes. This is a Scam which you may receive whereby you are told you owe back taxes and must pay the assessment immediately. Note, the IRS does not operate that way and this is clearly a Scam to have you send the caller your money. Residents of all ages and Nationalities have been receiving fake phone calls demanding money. Most callers have stated they are with the IRS and demand immediate payment or you will be arrested. Remember, No Law Enforcement Agency will demand payment over the phone. DO NOT send money via Western Union or by Green Dot Credit Card. When in doubt, call any of the following numbers for help:
    • Your local police department.
    • CID with the IRS: 732-761-3381
    • Our office at 609-953-1400
